Whatever Happens Happens

The Goal/Lesson Learned:

I think we’ve all heard the saying “everything happens for a reason.” Many have their opinions on this, but I'd like to share my perspective about this with you. We're never promised a perfect life. We’ll go through some tuff things. Some are more challenging than others, but that’s just it, we GO through them.

We may question ‘why did this happen’ to me or wonder ‘what to do in these situations.’ God doesn’t want you to do anything alone. So just know that you aren’t alone.

Why I wrote this song:

After my first tour in 2018, I felt the season I was in completely shift into a new season that was a little scary. I’m going to be honest, it was not easy. Of course, life is all about growth, but this was a pivotal moment for me; one that would change me forever. It pulled me left, right, up, down and every other direction you could think of. I had to make decisions that were so hard, but I made them.

My thoughts throughout all of this were… You know what? I’m not real sure where God is taking me, but whatever happens – happens because God is in it. I can remember saying those exact words to Benji Cowart, who I wrote this song with. I know it’s a reminder for me and you that whenever we don’t see the big picture or feel like we're walking into something blindly, we at least know that God is in it.

Prayer:

Hey God,

Give me the courage and strength to walk through whatever I need to walk through. Help me to know this in my heart, that no matter what happens, I don’t have to fear because you are right there with me. Help me to see what you see for me. Thank you for always being with me and cheering me on. I trust you and I know that you have my back… my heart… and my future.

Amen

Interaction:

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will

have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:5-6

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. -Genesis 28:15

1. Has there ever been a moment where you felt stuck? Maybe, when you have or had to make an important life choice, but you don’t or didn’t exactly know what to do. So, how did you respond in that situation?

2. How does it make you feel to know that you are not alone in the times of trouble?

3. If you feel alone right now, do you believe and trust that God has the very best for you? That he has your back too?

Hey, Brooke Robertson this was an amazing and I really can relate to it!

Yes I have felt stuck and I still do here and there but I know that God has my back and we can get through this together because whatever happens happens for a reason. It makes feel so good that I know I’m not alone in times of trouble and God is one prayer away. Yes God definitely has the very best for me and he also has the very best for you and I know that he is definitely happy with what you are doing right now! So thank you!!! ❤️🙏🏻🙌🏻✝️ God Bless You:)

Love,

Alexander Glover
